Join Riveredge Research & Conservation Director, Restoration Ecologist Randy Powers of Prairie Future Seed Co. & Dr. Laura Smith of the Pollinator Partnership for a day in the field discussing pollinator conservation and identifying a great variety of asters and goldenrod species in their habitats. Participants will get to know hard-earned tricks to tell species apart as well as become familiar with restoration and management specifications. All experience levels welcome!

Join us for an evening of tricks and treats for kids on the trails of Riveredge! Choose your own adventure along a 1.5 mile loop, as activity stations and fun will be scattered about the land. Visit educators in costume and dive into hands on experiences handling insects and examining animal bones! Enjoy a crackling campfire with family and friends and grab a treat bag to go on your way out for the evening. Cider and Cocoa available for purchase. Costumes and flashlights are encouraged!

There will be parking onsite at the Visitor Center, but it is limited, so please carpool if you can!
There will be a shuttle for overflow parking if needed, please check with the parking attendants if that is the case.
Autumn Acoustics is Riveredge’s brand new outdoor music festival.
See bands perform at two different stage locations as the fall colors start to turn. Genres include folk, bluegrass, indie rock, and singer-songwriter. Hike between acts, with fall-themed beverages and food. Interactive art experiences and art vendors will also bring their visual splendor to the experience. Dress for the weather and let musicians serenade you beneath the trees.
