Our Visitor’s Center and Nature Store are open:
All Weekdays: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Saturday: The snow is great! Riveredge will be open for winter pop-up hours from 9:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, February 15.
Sunday: The snow is great! Riveredge will be open for winter pop-up hours from 12 noon – 4:00pm on Sunday, February 16.
Our trails are open every day from dawn to dusk! We don’t believe exploration and adventure need a schedule!
In order to assure trail quality and maintenance, there is a daily trail fee for non-members. Members cover this cost and hike/ski year ‘round with their annual membership dues (and get much, much more).
The current fees for Non-Members are:
- Adults: $5.00
- Children ages 4—13: $2.00
- Children 3 & Under: Free
- Family: $15.00
All non-member trail users (hikers, skiers, and snowshoers) should purchase a trail pass at the visitor center or by using our pay envelopes found at the front door to the visitor center and at trailheads. The passes can be returned within one week for a rebate of up to $12 on the membership price.

Riveredge Nature Center does not allow pets. Domesticated pets both on and off leash or on can be disruptive to native and migratory wildlife habitat, which we work hard to cultivate. Thank you for your understanding.
