Learn how to save lives through Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) and understand the wellness benefits of nature. The training will be followed by an optional 30 min nature hike to experience the healing benefits of nature and learn coping techniques.

Part 1 of 4 - Topics include: personal protective equipment (PPE); body mechanics; chainsaw safety features; the chain and the cutter tooth; reactive forces; planning and executing tree felling, limbing, and bucking.
Photo Club meetings (virtual in winter) are friendly and informal, with a brief discussion of upcoming activities, a short program and the opportunity to share and discuss photos.
Part 2 of 4 - Topics include: basic chainsaw maintenance; review of the cutter tooth and hands-on sharpening; introduction to wedges; planning and executing tree felling; planning and executing limbing and bucking.
These naturalist guided experiences are designed with 45 minutes of structured play & exploration followed by 45 minutes of free play.
