Stroll with a Naturalist:
Spring Wildflowers
Join a naturalist for a casual walk on the trails of Riveredge. Each stroll will focus on a special aspect of nature but other things of interest will be explored as well. These educational programs will give you a better understanding of the flora and fauna of the nature center. You may even learn some of the history of the land too.
Ages 18+
This program is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated!

Learn to identify spring wildflowers in their habitats with restoration ecologist Matt Smith. We will visit many woodland, wetland and prairies environments along the Riverdge trail network. Students are encouraged to bring a camera, book, water and snack. This event is rain or shine.
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Member Adult* (age 12+): $30 | Non-member Adult (age 12+): $35

Stroll our trails with a special “mom”while enjoying carpets of woodland flowers. Learn the natural history and importance of wildflowers in our lives from a Riveredge naturalist. Bring your mom and wear comfortable shoes.
