Hike with Mandie Zopp, Riveredge’s Senior Naturalist, and become acquainted with the seasonal changes occurring throughout the sanctuary. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes that Riveredge has to offer. If the trails are snow covered, we will snowshoe (snowshoes are available).

If you are curious about natural communities, how they work, and the plants and animals that live in them, this course is for you! This series of 5 classes will get you outside discovering the wonders of winter and spring. Classes include Life in Winter, Exploring Winter Birds, What Tree is This?, Sap in the Bucket and Spring Bloomers. Visit www.riveredgenature center.org for more details and a full series schedule. Call to register for individual classes or the entire series.

Discover some of the common birds that reside in Wisconsin throughout the winter months. Please dress for being outdoors. If the trails are snow-covered, we will snowshoe (snowshoes are included).
