Water in Winter
The Lake- what will it be? Frozen solid, open water, ice floating? Who knows! Let’s observe it from the bluff and then head down to the water to see what is happening with the water due to weather!
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Meet at Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve in Grafton (address below).

Nature Tots:
Snowflake Saturday!
No two snowflakes are alike! Young learners are invited to step into the magical world of snow and ice as we explore the wintry world of Riveredge. We’ll play games, make fun snow art, and slide down the hills of Riveredge just like otters.
Nature Tots is an early childhood program designed for learners ages 2-5 years old, accompanied by an adult guardian (little siblings ages 0-1 are welcome to tag along). A Riveredge Naturalist will focus on outdoor exploration, literacy, physical development, nature intelligence, and social development.
Programs will be cancelled and refunded in the case of inclement weather.

Winter Water Wanderings
Water looks a little different this time of year! Nature Tots will explore the forms water takes in winter through colorful, ice-y experiments, a wander around the winter pond, and snowflake observations.
