Scout and Youth Maple Sugarin’ Day
Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4H, and youth groups of all kinds are invited to this special weekend! Learn how maple trees are tapped and syrup is made in a naturalist-guided tour of our sugarbush. Take part in a time-honored Riveredge tradition- a pancake & pickles, topped with maple syrup produced by the trees you’ve just visited.
Two dates and three times each day are available:
Saturday, March 11, 2022 9:30-11am, 11:30am-1pm, 2-3:30pm
Sunday, March 12, 2022 9:30-11am, 11:30am-1pm, 2-3:30pm
Ages 5-12 | $6 per scout | 2 chaperones can join for free
$25 deposit required to book | $50 minimum

We can’t think of a better group to celebrate the start of the maple sugarin’ season with than our awesome members! Members (and any guests they’d like to bring with them!) are invited to eat, drink, and be merry while learning more about the sugaring season.
Riveredge is hosting TWO days of the highly anticipated Maple Syrup Supper this year! You can join the fun on Friday March 3 or Saturday March 4 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
This is an exclusive event for members and their guests. Not a member? Your whole family can join for as little as $40!
Adults (13+): $25 | Children (ages 4-12): $15 | 3 & under: Free
Each participant (ages 4+) will receive a free drink ticket for this special supper!

On the menu: A delicious feast featuring just the right infusion of maple syrup with each dish. Gluten-free/vegetarian/vegan options must be requested at the time of registration.
- Maple Pulled Pork Shoulder with Roll and Maple BBQ sauce
- Butternut Squash Bisque (vegetarian)
- Maple Bacon Roasted Veggies (vegetarian available)
- Smoky Maple Baked Beans
- Salad with Maple Vinaigrette
- Maple Squash Bars
Bottoms up: Your first beer, wine, or soda ticket is included in the price!
Dinner and a show: After dinner, join us for a special night-time visit to the Sugarbush House to see where and how all the maple magic happens and hear the sap report! We want this to be a real party, so we’re encouraging members to invite their non-member friends to join them in the celebration as a great introduction to Riveredge and the sugarin’ season. If bringing guests, please register them under your own account so we can make sure everyone is coming at the invite of our members.
Cost: Adults: $25, Children (ages 4-12): $15, Children (3 & under): Free, but please indicate if they will need a seat.

Tickets can be refunded 75% up to two weeks before the event and 50% up to one week before. No refunds will be issued less than a week before the event.

From Sap to Syrup
Maple sugaring on a small scale is a great way to welcome spring! Join Riveredge staff to see the sugaring process from beginning to end. Learn how to identify and tap a maple; collect and boil down the sap; and how to finish off and bottle the syrup.
