Neurodiverse & Disability Nature Group
Are you a neurodivergent or disabled individual looking to find community and connect with others on a similar journey of navigating the world through the lens of someone with a disability? Do you like experiencing the wonder of nature or the sensory calm that follows you as you venture through the woods? Come make some friends at our social support group run by a young advocate!
Meet Flynn! My name is Flynn, I’m an autistic and disabled individual who has been involved in the community for the past decade. I’ve worked many years as a caregiver for others and learning about how to create a more accessible world. I love fungi and moss, foraging, reading and writing poetry every chance I get. I’m a mama to a one year old boy and currently enjoy spending my days with him.
Riveredge has one all terrain wheelchair available through Access Ability Wisconsin. This chair is free for anyone to use (with a refundable deposit)! Learn more or reserve the wheelchair here.
