Family Nature Club:
Seed Starting using Recycled Materials
Spring is here! Let’s get a head start on our gardens by planting seeds to germinate and sprout indoors. We gather at Riveredge and get creative and use recycled materials as pots and trays, so feel free to bring black and white newspaper, toilet paper rolls, plastic fruit containers, egg cartons, and/or milk jugs. Soil, seeds, and extra recycled materials will be provided.
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids ages 5-12 and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Pre-registration is highly recommended, but not required.
This event is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated!
