Black bears are one of Wisconsin’s most captivating native mammals. If you live or recreate in close proximity to black bears or are just interested in learning more, you won’t want to miss this program. We will dive into the natural history and behavior of these fascinating animals. Practical tips on camping in bear country and how to avoid attracting bears around your home will also be discussed. As bears continue to expand their range in Wisconsin, it’s up to us to learn how we can best co-exist with them.
