Riveredge Silent Sports: Sugarbush Snowshoe (or Run/Hike)
March 1, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Adults and children 12 and up. Riveredge Silent Sports is a series of programs focused on outdoor exercise and adventure. (“Silent” refers to the non-motorized recreation we enjoy, not the silence of the participants!) Join us for outdoor exercise and adventure! Maple Sugaring, that magical season, is here! Celebrate the rising of sweet sap by running or snowshoeing through the “sugar-snow” in Riveredge Nature Center’s sugarbush. You choose your pace: a brisk walk or even a run. Either way, you’ll kick off the season with good health! (If there is not enough snow to snowshoe, we will run or hike sans snowshoes.) Meet at the Visitors’ Center.
Fee for participants borrowing snowshoes from Riveredge:
Non-Member: $10 / Trail Pass Member: $5 / All Access Member: FREE
Fee for those bringing their own snowshoes (or if we hike/run instead of snowshoe):
Non-Member: $5 / Trail Pass & All Access Member: Free
