Science for Everyone – Wild In Milwaukee

For 4 years, a team of UWM Field Station & Milwaukee County Parks researchers hunted the urban Greater Milwaukee area, documenting biodiversity in & around the city. Join Gary Casper and Julia Robson to hear the story of what they found, and how they found it. Learn about new tools and methods for discovering rare species & explore how this type of research can be implemented in our area for preservation and conservation purposes.
Science for Everyone is a monthly lecture series sponsored by Riveredge and the Friends of LacLawrann Conservancy and the UWM Field Station. The series covers a wide range of topics including natural history, science, public policy and the environment. The programs are for the curious of any age and are open to the public. The lectures will both educate and entertain.
