Science for Everyone at LacLawrann Conservancy- Viruses: Friend or Foe?

October 17, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Local nurse practitioner Holly Schneider will present and discuss illness and viruses today and in history. Did illness swing the outcome of war? How do we know the difference between the flu or a cold? And why can’t they cure the common cold anyway? Join us for a lively discussion and remember to get your flu shot this season!

Science for Everyone is a monthly lecture series sponsored by Riveredge and the Friends of LacLawrann Conservancy and the UWM Field Station. The series covers a wide range of topics including natural history, science, public policy and the environment. The programs are for the curious of any age and are open to the public. The lectures will both educate and entertain.

Fee: Free ($5 Donation Appreciated)  Please note that this month’s event is at LacLawrann.
