Science for Everyone at LacLawrann Conservancy – Living off the Electric Grid

June 19, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Three years ago Peter Gibeau invested in solar panels, battery storage and the electronics to run it. Add to that a used EV (Electric Vehicle) powered by the sun, and his midlife crisis is almost complete. Join him for a discussion that will include developments in solar power around the globe!

Science for Everyone is a monthly lecture series sponsored by Riveredge and the Friends of LacLawrann Conservancy and the UWM Field Station. The series covers a wide range of topics including natural history, science, public policy and the environment. The programs are for the curious of any age and are open to the public. The lectures will both educate and entertain.

$5 donation appreciated. No pre-registration required. Please note that this month’s event is at LacLawrann.
