Science for Everyone – Geology of the Kettle Moraine

October 28, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Dr. Paul Price from UW Washington County will discuss the glacial processes that formed the interlobate moraine that we call the Kettle Moraine as well as the glacial lakes, drumlins, kames, kettles, and other features associated with the local landscape. He will place those processes in the context of the pre-existing landscape and how it helped guide the glaciers as well as being shaped by them.
