CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: Science for Everyone – Exploring the Ice Age Trail
January 17, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Update: Unfortunately, with the icy conditions already in place and more rain and freezing temperatures on the way, we’ve made the decision to cancel tonight’s talk. We’re sure Natalie will be back for a Science for Everyone soon!
The Ice Age Trail is an incredible natural asset for Wisconsin! Over 1,100 miles long, the trail winds through some of the state’s most beautiful areas and showcases the geological history that makes these areas unique. Over a million people hike and explore some part of the trail each year, but only about 40 people have ever hiked the whole trail in one thru-hike. As luck would have it, Natalie Dorrler, Riveredge’s Associate Director of Development is one of them!
Natalie hiked the trail over the course of 68 days in 2014. She will share the challenges met and insights gained as a thru-hiker, as well as be able to answer any questions you might have about the trail!
$5 donation appreciated. No pre-registration required.
