Riveredge Kids Cooking Series: Picnic in the Park

This program will be a feast for your mind and your appetite! Join Chef Terri  in creating delicious, easy-to-make recipes for beginner chefs and utilize healthy, fresh ingredients in the kitchen.

This session we’ll take our food “to go” and enjoy making a no-cook picnic sampler! We’ll prep our feast and then enjoy a summer hike in the beautiful outdoors at Riveredge. We’ll fill our picnic basket with trail pizza, garden fresh veggies with green herb dip, colorful fruit salsa, a crisp summer cooler, and I-SCREAM! Sandwiches.

This program is limited to children 8-12 only (adults sit this one out to let their young chefs learn how to whip up a storm!) Please be prepared to share any food allergies your child may have.

Cost: Non-Members: $25 per participant, Riveredge Members: $15 per participant
