Explore Riveredge at a new elevation! This isn’t your childhood tree climbing. With the help of our trained facilitators, you’ll get up in the trees like never before. Using the same professional equipment that arborists and scientists use when they ascend into the treetops, our highly trained and experienced facilitators will teach you everything you need to know to get harnessed up, in the saddle, and headed toward the treetops. Once you’re at a height that’s comfortable for you, you’ll be free to swing, spin, bounce, walk the branches, or just hang out in a tree. It’s your adventure!
Our tree climbing programs are meant for youth and adults, age 7 and above, with little to no tree climbing skills. At this special Parent or Grandparent/Child Trek version of our climbs, we’re offering parents or grandparents a way to get up in the trees with the children in their life and experience something incredibly unique together!
All equipment is supplied; all you need is loose clothing (T-shirt and long pants recommended), closed toe shoes (hard soles recommended), and an adventurous spirit!
To learn more about tree climbing and other climb dates, please visit our tree climbing page!
Pre-registration is highly recommended. These tree climbing programs often fill quickly. A minimum of six climbers is required to climb, so please be sure to register if you’re planning on coming so we don’t have to unnecessarily cancel any climbs!
Cost per climber (all ages 7 or or older welcome!):
Non-members: $35 / Riveredge Trail Pass members: $25 / All Access members: $20.
Cancellation Policy: Registrant will be refunded 75% of registration fee if cancellation occurs up to 7 days (1 week) before the event. Any cancellations within 7 days of the event will not be refunded unless the event is cancelled by Riveredge staff.
