Parent/Grandparent Treks: Canoeing Horicon Marsh

Experience canoeing through Horicon Marsh, the site of both a national and state wildlife refuge, located just one hour from Riveredge. The slow moving waters of the marsh offer relaxing family paddling. The flora and fauna are unmatched, and more than 350 species of birds have been sighted over the years. Join a Riveredge Naturalist for an exciting day of paddling and discovery. Riveredge will provide canoes, paddles and lifejackets; participants provide a hat, sunscreen, water, lunch and enthusiasm. For ages 8 and up and children must be accompanied by an adult. Program limited to 14 participants.
