Noel J. Cutright Bird Club: ‘Why is Wisconsin the Top Bluebird State? Because People Care”

November 4, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

For the last 12 years, Dr. Kent Hall, who taught biology at UW-Stevens Point for 30 years, has coordinated the Aldo Leopold Audubon Society’s Bluebird Trail. Since 2009, the trail has been the largest and most productive in the state and for three years the largest and most productive in North America. For 11 years, Hall has been on the board of the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin; since 2007, Wisconsin has been the top producing bluebird state in North America. Hall is proud to be part of the most successful restoration of a songbird in Wisconsin conservation history. Why did it happen? Because people care.
