Noel J. Cutright Bird Club – “Two Weeks in Africa That Changed My Life Forever”
July 10, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Christine Zimmerman, a Sheboygan birder and convention chair for the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology, presents “Two Weeks in Africa That Changed My Life Forever.” Says Christine: “The beauty of the African landscape, people and birds made my trip to Kenya an unforgettable experience. I always tell people – everyone needs to go to Africa, it will change your life forever. We saw 500 bird species, 49 mammals (including the Big Five), plus lizards, crocs and some amazing insects. Our guide, Kevin Easley, was great as usual. He knows all the birds and other animals and was a great resource on the history of Kenya.” Learn more about this amazing trip and ask any burning you may have about going yourself.
Pre-meeting bird hike at 6 PM. Meeting at 7 PM.
The bird club meets the first Tuesday of every month. It brings together those who enjoy observing and learning more about birds and sharing these interests with others. All activities are free & open to the public. Attend a meeting or field trip to become a member and receive the electronic bimonthly newsletter.
