NJC Bird Club – Journey of a Thousand Lifers – Bill Volkert

Bill Volkert, renowned author and naturalist, will be discussing his book Journey of a Thousand Lifers. Volkert is known for his decades of work with the Wisconsin DNR at Horicon Marsh. The presentation will follow Volkert and his wife Connie’s 55,000 mile, eight-month journey through multiple continents as they documented over 1,300 species of birds.
