Fly Fishing 201 – intermediate instruction (CANCELLED)
August 3, 2014 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Who qualifies for this class? Those who have their own equipment, have done some fly fishing and now want to learn how to improve casts, presentations, knots and lure selections. We will discuss some advanced techniques, but the main emphasis is on you, the individual student. Bring your questions, we will answer them the best we can. We plan on ending up in the river, so bring your tackle and waders, if you have them. If you do not have waders or hip boots, Riveredge can supply hip boots – just tell us your size when you register.
Fee: $35 for Riveredge members, $40 for non-members.
Class size is limited to two. Pre-registration required.
PLEASE NOTE: If response to these classes is strong enough, we will schedule additional classes. AND, If you are interested in any of these classes, but our schedule, including any additional classes we might have, does not meet with yours, you can create your own class. If you can put together six individuals for the beginners fly fishing class, four people for the fly tying class, and two people for the intermediate class, call us. We will do what we can to put together a class for you.
Also, know that the State of Wisconsin, because we do fish in some of our classes, requires you to have a fishing license. RNC presumes you know this and have obtained your license prior to the start of class.
