Restoration After Emerald Ash Borer: how to recover your landscape and woods
August 2, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Emerald ash borer has left lasting effects on our landscape and economy, as a recent Journal Sentinel report makes clear. Did you know this destructive invasive species was actually first found in Wisconsin just a mile down the road from Riveredge ten years ago? Ever since, Riveredge staff have been at the forefront of efforts to study and attempt to control the devastating effects of the beetle in the state. At this workshop, we invite you to learn from these efforts as you join Riveredge Land Manager and Restoration Ecologist Matt Smith on a field tour of our ash ecosystems to discuss realistic recovery solutions for your rural property or residential landscape.
Cost: Riveredge Members: $40, Non-Members: $50
